Having just gone to general chat and replied to one of the messages, mine then appears in date order and isn't referenced to item I replied to which was earlier than the last / prior posting. This means that my reply looks as if it is nonsense as it appears below the last communication and not the one I replied to. How can I reference a whole conversation without the continuity of a reference. Do I get the option to load in order of conversation. It 50 people respond to one message and 50 to another it will be a nightmare to unravel the conversation. Or am I missing something obvious?

Hi,
It seems to correspond in this section with a reference to: order of items.

Why have we got both 'quick reply' and 'reply'? What is 'quote' for? And what is 'karma' <- off to the left here.

Hi Gary

The quote function allows you to answer or reference a specific post allowing you to see the original post below, if that makes sense. Jeff is that what you were referring to?

Cheers

Jonathan is correct, this is how the majority of forums work, you see the posts in time order and if you would like to reference a specific post then you use the quote function.

Hope that helps.
